We Are Weird!
This blog is about the Cannery Row Antique Mall in Monterey, California and the crazy people who work there and the crazy stuff we sell. There are over a hundred dealers at the mall. The mall has been open 18 years this summer.

One can find doll heads with no bodies to a Persian rug to a giant cabinet once owned by the creator of Bullwinkle, Alex Anderson. 1900's check writing machine anyone?
We are in a giant historic cannery building. It's so big we always have room for more. There are lots of quirky things about the building, such as the seagulls who live on the roof, the original machinery from the cannery days still makes up our decor, a big barn door that slides open on the second floor.
Carmen, one of our dealers is descended from a famous Big Sur pioneering family, the Harlans and Steve, one of the originators of the mall, his
father was a Swedish Baptist minister. Steve has a very interesting take on life.
